The International Society of Arboriculture is devoted to every aspect of professional arboriculture. From published research projects and studies to grade-school awareness, the ISA is the authority on arboriculture and the practices associated with it.
An aspiring arborist may further his/her career by taking a written exam and demonstrating their knowledge to become certified as an ISA arborist. These certified arborists are then tasked with continuing their education regarding tree health, pruning techniques, soil sciences, chemical applications, climbing methods, and many other facets of the arboricultural industry and community.
