The most straightforward of the bunch, removals consist of removing a tree in a controlled manner and cutting the stump no more than 4 inches from the ground, just above the root flare. Many choose to add-on stump grinding to completely dispose of the stump.

This category includes aesthetic, vista, structural, storm damage, and hazard prunes.
Aesthetic and vista prunes typically consist of thinning and sometimes a height or length reduction of limbs to provide a pleasing form, outline a desirable feature, or highlight strengths within the tree itself.
Structural prunes may rely heavily on thinning and weight reduction, or they may focus on canopy cleaning and light deadwooding – it all depends on the tree. This is our most common pruning practice.
Hazard and storm damage prunes go hand in hand. One is designed to prevent the other. These projects are typically technical, requiring rigging and know how. Remember, it’s always better to mitigate a potential hazard BEFORE it’s too late.
